This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative partnership between the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol and My Cookie Dough under the UK Government sponsored Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme.
About My Cookie Dough: Based locally in Warmley, Bristol, My Cookie Dough Ltd are a highly-skilled, professional dessert company that specialises in baked cookie dough dessert. Their mission is to spread happiness with Cookie Dough, and do it in a way that is ethically good and sustainable.
With specialist support from the academic team at UWE Bristol Business School, you will lead on a 24-month project to introduce improved and sustainable processes and systems, applying the latest in technology, data analysis and business models, to support a food production business' rapidly scaling growth. In addition, you will help introduce and embed a new distributed leadership model to enhance the business' organisational performance and strategic vision.
Qualifications required: A BA / BSc or M.Sc. / MBA degree preferably in Business and Management.
The Role: If you are a highly motivated Business graduate with an awareness of process mapping and business process improvement preferably from practical experience this is a great opportunity to fast track your career. The role of the KTP Associate will help identify, evaluate, and target new markets for the company’s management systems. This will require market research, marketing communication improvements, and the implementation of new organisational processes and practices.
Essential skills required:•Experience of business process mapping, re-engineering
•Knowledge of operations management and anunderstanding of organisational culture and leadership skills
•Strong commercial acumen, to appraise opportunities andbuild business cases for change
•Experience with digital technologies, preferably forproduction and operations
•Entrepreneurial mindset - agile thinker and a can-do attitude
•Two years of practical experience in industry would bebeneficial, preferably in the food sector, but not essential.

The position is a 24-month fixed term contract, which includes management and business skills training provided by the national KTP programme and a further £2k per annum dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development.
